Painting was something I could focus on that brought me peace & joy in a time of healing. It later evolved into something more than just putting brush to paper, like launching a small creative business and building my website.
I later discovered a passion for opaque mediums such as gouache and acrylics; I have now found my niche with oils; they flow naturally with my style of painting.
I’ve recently started doing digital oil-like paintings in Procreate. I use Procreate to quickly sketch my ideas, which I then use as inspiration for my oil paintings; I bring my favourite sketches to life on canvas. Procreate has also allowed me to quickly develop my style and discover my favourite colour palettes.
